Clara Wren - Week 9 - Space +Art
Space is where it is all coming together in the end. From nanotechnology, to mathematics, to science, to robots, to art, this is where everything is connected and brought to one thing. And that thing is space. Space is related back to your consciousness.

When looking at the stars, they were named Roman names to figure out life. Between meteorites, stars, and shooting stars, they are fascinating and beautiful pieces of space that have become so much to artists.
Starting with Copernicus, who was a mathematician and astronomer, he created an early heliocentric model of the solar system. He put the sun in the center of his drawing and this was when the first idea was made about the sun being in the center of the solar system. Although his work was not necessarily new, he had the most mathematical details and explanations to prove what his artwork was showing.

An amazing part in space history was not only when the first human was sent up into space, but they were able to design a suit for an animal to go up. A dog was sent up in a little suit for the very first time. It was such a monumental moment, all over global news, because people wanted the first living creature to return back safely down to earth. This not only had to do with space, but also math, science, and art to design what was needed for that dog to live and succeed.
