Clara Wren - Event 3 - Cosmological Elements: Space & Art #3

I attended the third zoom meeting of the three series of the Cosmological Elements, Space and Art, on May 5, 2023, at 10:00a.m.  This was by far my favorite zoom meeting out of this series of events.  I thought there were really amazing speakers that spoke about such unique and creative ideas.  It opened my eyes and mind up to so much more in this world than I have ever known about or heard about.  I really appreciated getting to be a part of learning something new.

Although there were so many great speakers, the two that caught my attention the most were Agnes Meyer-Brandis and Anna Hoetjes.  These were about the moon goose colony and the eyes in the sky.

To begin, the moon goose colony was a lunar bird migration.  They traveled between the Earth and the moon.  This big question is: Do they still exist? That question is still needing an answer to this day.  The three main elements that make this up are the moon good colony, the moon analogue in Italy, and the control room.  The colony imprinted the animals.  The animals accept the print as their parent.  After months of training, they return back for the next step of the experiment.  The analog is the first essential step of training for the daring psychological travel to space.

Secondly, the Eyes in the Sky was a scientist that literally popped out their eyeball.  They wanted to see if they could see the world from outside of it.  I thought that this was the craziest thing someone could do.  But after hearing the explanation behind it, and the purpose they felt it served, it was still not something I would ever do, but I saw more of a scientific method behind it.
